2003 – FDA orders Bold Warning about risk of liver injury after 130 cases of severe liver

connected to its use, according to FDA.
2010 July 13 – FDA announces severe liver injury now being added to Boxed Warning .
FDA’s most recent review of adverse events reports an additional 49 cases of severe
liver injury, including 14 cases of fatal liver failure.

injuries.
